This place is incredible!! I had a shutter break for the first time in 9 years and I considered sending it in to Canon for repairs. I’m so glad I called shocked electronics first - they gave an accurate quote over the phone (way less than Canon) and were so incredibly friendly!!
I would give them 10 stars if possible. My camera stop working because of rain damage and looked for camera repair shop everywhere but couldn't find reliable place to fix it. Called Canon but they ask me to ship it at own risk somewhere in midwest.
I rolled the dice and drove 6 hours from Pittsburgh to have these guys replace the shutter in my Sony A7IV which stopped working days before a gig. I needed it in a pinch and could not wait on shipping times.
I visited them last Friday (June 27th) with hopes of being able to fix my Canon 5D IV LCD screen. They diagnosed it, said it could take a week, and they literally called me today (July 1st) saying it was ready to be picked up! Amazing turn around time and customer service!
