I went in to look at film equipment and ended up purchasing an olympus infinity stylus. Which ended up not working correctly, bummer. I totally get it, it's equipment that's nearly 40 years old, stuff breaks down. But the issue was immediately rectified.
If you go to the Norman's camera in Grand Rapids, you need to look for Khoa Nguyen. This young man's not just incredibly knowledgeable, hes willing to take the time to explain everything with you no matter how long it takes. He knew I wasn't making a purchase today but that didn't stop him.
Long story short...I arrived on set for a 2-day film shoot...2 HOURS from my studio, and I suddenly remembered that I didn't have my SD cards. It was 930 am, and call time was 10 am.
The best customer service ever. Hau, my guy you are the best! I’m fairly new to photography and he was so informative. Answered all my questions and helped me find a replacement camera after learning my was on its way out.
