Dave CLA'd my Minolta CLE. I dropped it on the floor and the camera literally bounced two or three times. Everything had to be retuned and overhauled, including the lens. Dave worked on the camera for about two weeks and sent it back promptly. The cost for the CLA and repair was extremely fair and reasonable.
I’ve now had two of my older SLR cameras serviced by Dave, the first back in 2003, and most recently in 2019. I was very happy to see he is still servicing and repairing vintage film cameras as it’s practically impossible to find shops that will even touch them these days.
Took an SLR I picked up at a garage sale to him. The seller told me it had been sitting on a shelf for a few years, and I later discovered it was made in 1969. After I spent time toying with it, the shutter got stuck. Dave called me the day after I dropped it off with a run down and a quote.
