"Tamron store near me" is a local search, so this is the useful cut. States with two or more stockists get their own page.
The reason to drive to a counter instead of clicking is that you get to hold the thing, and you get a shop that still knows you afterwards. Ask what the return window is, whether the price includes the US warranty, and who does their repairs.
On price gaps. If one seller is hundreds under everyone else, the usual explanation is gray market — genuine Tamron gear imported outside the manufacturer's US distribution channel. It isn't counterfeit and it isn't stolen, but it carries no US manufacturer warranty. Nikon, for one, will not service gray-market gear in the United States at any price, even if you offer to pay for the repair. B&H labels this stock "No USA Warranty" — you'll see it abbreviated NUW. Silence about warranty status on a suspiciously cheap body tells you what you need to know.
None of the shops on this page publish an authorized-dealer claim on their website, which is not the same as saying they are not one — ask directly. If you plan to buy gray market anyway, sort out service first: see who repairs cameras near you.
