This place is a gem! I drove up from SA and decided to get some rolls developed. They developed and sent scans super quickly! However, this is when we discovered an issue with a camera I recently purchased. They were able to fix it rather quickly (next day) and get me back to shooting.
Took an Asahi Pentax K1000 camera in looking for film, a battery and a lens cap. Not only did we get 3 rolls of film, a battery and lens cap for about $40, but we also got a whole lesson on how to use the camera.
San Marcos Film Labs is awesome! Tim is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The turnaround time is fast, and their customer service is friendly and professional. As a photographer I appreciate their attention to detail and passion for film.
Such a cute store, everyone was very kind and helpful. David is very knowledgable, he gave my old camera a look over and walked me through how to use it. They also have awesome recycled disposable film cameras and recycled film roll keychains! So glad San Marcos has this service.
