These guys are great. I took my Sigma 50mm in a couple weeks ago because the fear mount was loose. I knew what was wrong bit didn’t have the tolls to fix it and didn’t want to run the risk of messing it up. In any case, I took it in on a Friday and paid the $15 fee to have It looked at.
My Sony A7R encountered auto focus problem while I was traveling to Paris three weeks ago. It had humming noise when I turned it on. The noise continue for a few second after I turned it off. I thought the focus motor on the lens had problem. The noise disappeared after a while.
I am really grateful to have been able to work with Photo Tech Repair. I had an issue with my Sony camera and was really upset about not being able to use it on an upcoming trip. Paul was so helpful and kind. He showed a genuine understanding and support for my concerns and had a ton of knowledge in camera tech.
