Rick was able to repair my 1976 Sony Elcaset EL-5 cassette deck. I bought the deck online, and it was in good condition, but the tape transport was not moving. I was rather disappointed, and given the age of the deck, I was not very hopeful; after all, none of the audio equipment that I owned in the 80’s survived…
One Stop Repairs is the best electronics repair shop I have ever encountered. Ralph is amazing, with fifty years of electronics repair experience, he is truly a magician and is also very nice person to work with. The work is great and the prices are fair (especially considering the specialty nature of the work).
Great little classic repair shop that seems like it's a hold-out from another era... well, the 80's. The front room is littered with old TVs and turn tables and receivers that you haven't seen since you were daydreaming about watching Better Off Dead in your parent's wood paneled basement.
Brought my 1974 Pioneer SX-737 in for inspection and tune up. Rick did a great job restoring it back to 100%. Communication was great, turn around and price is fair. Keep in mind this is a very small, very niche operation of which are disappearing more and more. Have patience and be specific about your expectations.
