I sent in my Nikon D7100 for repairs in consideration of its loose grip under warranty. I called them to ask if they had received my package and they were very helpful and the next day I saw that my camera was already being worked on. Maybe a week or so after working on the camera, I was given a UPS tracking number.
I sent my D810 in for a repair of a bent mount. Repairs were done and the Nikon repair center in Melville New York did an excellent job. They were thorough, fast and so professional.
I made the mistake of leaving my camera bag on the roof of a car. The bag fall off the car moving 30 mph. My Z8 and Z 24-70 2.8 both suffered moderate fall damage. The Z8 had internal as well as external (visible scrapes) something was loose inside and the lens mount was damaged.
All communication with the Nikon repair team has been handled in a timely and professional manner. Costs for repair have been reasonable and fair. When i have had to send equipment to the facility on a rush basis because of an assignment they have turned the equipment around in a courteous and expedient manner.
